The Company was formed to service the existing and ever increasing demand for highly experienced project management personnel. pm4’s expertise does not lie exclusively within the construction industry, as between them the team of Directors hold extensive experience in the Security, IT and Finance sectors. pm4 also cater for projects overseas and have recently expanded its services to include Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Managers and Project Safety & Security Managers. John CowieA successful businessman managing a series of investments across a range of industries. Previously Managing Director of a rail project services company with a turnover in excess of £200m, and part of a large support services group with a turnover of £500m. Senior roles in Project & Commercial Management has allowed John first hand experience of structuring and arranging rail project transactions both in the UK and overseas. John was a pivotal member of a consortium representing the take-over of the entire Zimbabwean rail network on a BOOT basis. He is a fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. David Arumainayagam A multi-skilled Executive with several years of senior financial and general management experience in the UK and overseas. David has considerable knowledge covering a range of enterprises from small-scale start-ups to major companies in various areas from finance to HR. An established ability in structuring and executing property finance and project investment transactions ranging in value from £1m to £200m. Possessing highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, team-working and communication skills together with considerable expertise and credibility in working at Board level, David has a proven track record of meeting challenging project objectives and deadlines. His membership of professional institutions include the Chartered Institute of Management, the Institute of Directors, and the Institution of Civil Engineers and he is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. John Harvey John has specialised in the areas of change management in urban renewal and housing policy over the last thirty years. He began his career in the civil service where he held a number of policy adviser posts in the inner city and housing renewal directorates rising to be Head of the Estate Action Division 1987-89. He worked at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants in 1989–1996 where he led a number of major policy evaluations of area based policy initiatives. In 2000 he formed IRIS Consulting (UK) Ltd which is a research based performance improvement consultancy specialising in helping organisations implement the new agendas across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He is currently directing assignments for the DWP, ODPM and the Health & Safety Executive looking at employment patterns in the public sector. IRIS Consulting’s other clients include amongst others, The Crown Estate and Lloyd’s Register. Nicholas Wright Nicholas is a Vice President in a top tier global bank and his background includes a role as Chief of Staff driving a $60m project, and operating front-line project management to deliver internet based corporate banking solutions to the emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is currently engaged in a senior role growing a wealth management cross-border banking business, focused primarily on providing internet based solutions to the rapidly growing dual-residence market. Reading a degree in Economics before passing out from RMA Sandhurst, he held a regular commission as an Infantry Officer in the British Army on active duty in the former Yugoslavia and Northern Ireland. Bob Williams As a recently retired Army Officer, Bob is currently project managing high profile remote banking solutions for a Global Financial Services Corporation. He holds a senior position in a $1bn business delivering innovative internet, mobile and ATM solutions to a demanding market. Prior to active service in the Gulf, he held a series of senior roles in an infantry battalion running the Regiment’s reporting, discipline and promotion systems. In 2001, he was heavily involved in the military support for the “Foot and Mouth“ crisis and also saw active duty in Afghanistan. He holds a BsC in Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University. David Isaac Following many years in construction management in the public and private sectors, David was appointed to lead Stratford City Challenge’s Local Labour Initiative in December 1993. He established Stratford Labour Hire Limited (SLH) as a staff recruitment agency supplying construction personnel to local contracting organisations. David has progressed the interests of SLH by diversifying into other sectors supplying manual and administrative municipal staff to a number of companies. He is a Director of a consultancy business involved in Executive Search & Recruitment, Interim Management and Training, specifically for the public sector. |
